One More Cup Of Coffee (Bob Dylan Cover)

Story

I thank Bob Dylan for this song he wrote for the album DESIRE in 1976. It's been an anthem of beauty and pain for me since its release. I don't know who he wrote it for. Scarlet? Some gypsy girl? Who knows. For me, it's about dreams and desires, unattainable beauty and the pain of unrequited love. I made the basic flamenco style my own over the years. I recorded the song spontaneously in my living room on an iPad Air with a Røde NT USB microphone. The guitar is my lovely 55-year-old Yairi Gaki, which my dad gave me when I was a teen. The picture is me, writing something, no doubt about beauty and pain, at university in the same year as the song was released. Credit also goes to my dad, Theo Dahms, for giving me that guitar and inspiring me to learn classical and flamenco styles in my teens. My dad passed away at the age of 94 in February 2025. Olé Pa, wherever you may be!
